Pickle Christmas Ornament German Tradition – A very old Christmas Eve tradition in Germany was to hide a glass pickle ornament deep in the branches of the Christmas Tree. The parents hung the pickle Christmas ornament after all the other ornaments were in place. In the morning the most observant child who found the pickle would receive an extra gift from St.Nicholas.

*2nd picture shows 3 pickles, but this purchase is just for one pickle.   We have two different sizes to choose from.  The smaller pickle ornament is a little over 2 inches tall.  The larger pickle ornament is about 3.5 inches tall.  Although the larger pickle ornament is much more visually impressive, you want a small ornament because so they're hard to find.
